The future will be a tech-saturated world from the most simple things to more complicated tasks. But, why I didn't conclude that today's world has already been saturated with technology everywhere?

In the field of education, some students still use textbooks, and all schools and universities hire human teachers. Many online courses are considered useless since human has difficulty overcoming laziness and procrastination. Thus, for now, a human teacher is still the most common educational medium in different fields. The internet accommodates a greater variety of people with different situations, such as people with physical disability and sickness, by offering remote online meetings available on different apps and programs. I believe there will be more diverse and innovative forms to educate people in the future. Many students' most common problem, poor time management, will also be solved with the help of advanced technology or even just a perfect app. Overall, more and more powerful digital tools with a higher level of intelligence will emerge.

On the other hand, It is interesting to find out the connection between our class reading with a chapter called"Cognitive Enhancement in Humans," which discusses how humans increase their mental capacities, and a study about people's perspective over the relationship between the future of well-being and digital life. As one idea shows in the report, "people’s cognitive capabilities will be challenged in multiple ways, including their capacity for analytical thinking, memory, focus, creativity, reflection and mental resilience." While some people believe the digital tools will do more harmed than helped, cognitive enhancement seems to become more and more important in the future. The reading from class presents a point about the controversy when lots of natural or culturally-embedded enhancers, such as sleep and caffeine, are no longer the only few enhancers any more. "More modern enhancements strategies such as pharmaceuticals, computer training, or brain stimulation have raised considerable social and medical concern—not always solely based on their potential side effects and health risks." These strategies and modern technology are inseparable. In the future, technology will not powerful enough to make everything perfect and will have two sides as things always do. In this case, technology might weaken humans' mental capabilities, whereas at the same time it will provide humans more useful tools to enhance cognition. Even now humans' growth of reliance on technology faces challenges in many different ways, how will humans in the future solve these increasingly difficult issues in pursuit of a healthy and balanced relationship with technology?
