Among different kinds of topics throughout the semester, I enjoy the conversational user interface topic most because I encounter it everyday during the website browsing and online shopping. I did many research and learned a lot more regarding the current achievements in this area and the room for improvements. Researching the topic enhances my understanding to the system that I frequently interact with in my daily life.
We can add more topics regarding the human machine system design in the medical area since the improvement in this area would eventually benefit every one and significantly lower the cost for curing the diseases. This type of improvement has great significance that can save more and more people's life.
In the future, humans and machines will design the systems together, but most of the labor-intensive work will be done by machines. Human would be in the judges place and will be making the final decision. Nowadays, the system design process is still not automated enough and there are many things that must be done by human including the original design generation, low-level coding etc. But in the future, some of these processes will be replaced by machines. An advanced machine would be able to auto-correct itself and evolve based on the training data it consumes. It will automatically generate multiple design ideas and human will only act as the judge of the design.
